Terms and Conditions of Hire Once a booking has been confirmed, a contract is entered into between the guest and Glenbeag Mountain Lodges (GML). Please read the following carefully. Booking & Payment - When you submit a booking online via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise after receipt of payment when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent by post or email. . A deposit of 1/3 of the full rent is due on booking, with the balance payable one month before the start of the holiday. Payment can be by Credit / Debit card or cheque, made payable to "Glenbeag Mountain Lodges". Full payment is required for a booking taken less than a month before the start of the holiday. GML reserves the right to re-let the accommodation should the balance payment not be received by the due date. Cancellation and Insurance - Holiday cancellation insurance is not included in the cost of the rental. For any cancellation GML must be informed immediately. Unless a re-let is obtained, the customer is responsible for the full cost of the let. If the accommodation is re-let at the full rate, a 66% refund will be made, if at a lesser rate a smaller % refund will be made. In all cases the deposit is not refundable. For winter lets, there is no refund in the event of their being no snow for snowsports. To safeguard against cancellation and unforeseen eventualities, holiday cancellation insurance is strongly recommended, and on request we will forward an application form. Holiday date changes are treated like a cancellation and will be made at a cost of the booking deposit. Arrival and Departure - The period of let shall be from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. Electricity and Heating - Heating is by Dimplex electric radiators. The heating and the hot water immerser will be turned on prior to the guests arrival and the meter will be read at this time. Power to the hot tubs remains on at all times. Electricity consumed will be charged at the current rate (per unit consumed) and a final meter reading is taken at the end of the stay.
